We’re a tight-knit crew of weekend backpackers, thru-hikers, car-camping families, and “s’mores by the fire” enthusiasts headquartered in Colorado’s Front Range. Born on the trail and raised in the Rockies, we know that the right gear can turn a good trip into a legendary one. Our mission: make top-quality camping equipment easy to find, easy to afford, and easy to love.

How we began
It started with a soggy sleeping bag on an overnight in Utah’s Escalante canyons. Two friends—our founders, Maya and Lucas—realized that trustworthy gear reviews were scattered, and great prices were harder to find than clean camp coffee. They bootstrapped Wander Campers in 2024 with a garage full of sample tents and a vision: make buying outdoor equipment as straightforward as following a well-Wander Campers.
